WHO: For anyone with a baby!

WHAT: Baby Sign Language provides a lot of advantages for you and your baby to communicate. Some of the signs I teach are “milk,” “mommy,” “daddy,” “thirsty,” “water,” “food,” “all done,” “more,” “hungry,” “sleepy,” “pacifier,” “hot,” “cold,” “bath,” “play,” “toy,” “potty,” and many more! You will be surprised how quickly they absorb the words in sign language.

WHY: Why should I use sign language with my baby? Using signs allows your baby to express him or herself with gestures before he or she is able to speak with words. Research shows that signs can help your baby learn to speak with words sooner. In addition, I believe that frustration and tantrums can be avoided by closing the gap between desire to communicate and the ability to do so. It is delightful to see a baby using sign language and the connection you will have with your baby at such a young age is priceless.
